Rwanda IT Operations Administrator

Job Summary
Provide Tier 2 technical support for end-user devices, networks, and IT services, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests. Administer and maintain laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and network infrastructure while ensuring compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures. Manage medium-complexity IT projects, including defining plans, timelines, and stakeholder responsibilities for system upgrades and infrastructure improvements. Coordinate routine activities such as device maintenance, inventory management, and performance monitoring to maintain accurate asset records. Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and standardization, while tracking key operational metrics and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. Fluency in English is required; French is a strong advantage. This role is open to citizens or permanent residents of Rwanda only.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3 years of experience providing IT support, systems administration, or IT operations services in a professional environment
- Understanding of IT service management principles and incident management processes
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or similar deployment tools
- Fluency in English
- Citizens or permanent residents of Rwanda

- Familiarity with organizational IT policies, security standards, and technology governance practices
- French language skills
