Job Summary
Leads Mike Albert Fleet Solution’s Business Development Team to grow sales and market share in the West Coast region by communicating and executing a vision and plan, using a consultative selling and total solutions approach. Coaches and develops Business Development Managers (BDMs) to build talent pipelines, aligns sales talent for long-term results, and collaborates with internal departments to close deals, negotiate lease terms, and ensure smooth client transitions. Responsible for setting regional sales goals, managing the sales pipeline and forecasts, providing performance feedback, driving incentive structures, maintaining industry awareness, and traveling 50-75% as needed to support client opportunities. Maintains an active network of contacts, recruits top talent, and ensures CRM data is accurately maintained while leading weekly 1:1s and strategic initiatives with the Senior Team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales leadership role
- 10 years of experience in a strategic sales role
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, accounting, finance, or related field
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (i.e. MBA) is preferred
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Financial knowledge/expertise
- Business travel 50-75% with personal flexibility for overnight travel
- Experience coaching and developing sales teams (BDMs)
- CRM system experience
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Leadership and ethical standards
