Job Summary

RV Technicians perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance, and handle diagnosis and repairs to RV units. They collaborate with the shop foreman and RV service advisor to plan work procedures, provide labor time estimates, monitor repair time, and ensure compliance with dealership policies. The role requires diagnosing RV problems, maintaining quality standards, keeping client documentation up to date, attending required trainings, and staying current with factory technical bulletins while following federal, state and local regulations (including hazardous waste disposal).

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • RVIA certification preferred but not required
  • State Inspection License is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Must have own tools appropriate to skill level
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean, insurable, driving record
  • Certification in trade fields such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, are a plus!
  • Experience preferred in one of the following categories: Boat: Exteriors, Boat: Interiors, Carpentry, Cars, Electrical Systems, Fiberglass, High and Low Voltage Systems, HVAC, Hydraulics, Plumbing, Propane Systems, RVs, Welding
