Job Summary
Diagnose and repair RVs to ensure safety and optimal performance. Perform comprehensive vehicle examinations, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural faults using diagnostic tools, and repair components to meet factory specifications. Conduct road tests, process warranty claims, install accessories, and perform pre-delivery inspections. Deliver high-quality guest and customer service from initial contact through completion, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Requires strong mechanical/electrical/electronics skills, attention to detail, ability to follow manufacturer specifications, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to repairs and service.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a qualified RV Technician or Journeyman or have equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Propane certification to operate LP gas pump (LP Gas ticket required in Vancouver)
- Hands-on experience in RV preventative maintenance including propane systems, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, refrigerators, heating, water systems, slide mechanisms
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team; customer-focused and safety-conscious
