Job Summary

Troubleshoot, order parts, and repair defects in electrical, heating/air conditioning, mechanical, plumbing, and chassis systems of luxury motor homes and trailers. Execute interior and exterior repairs including cabinetry, woodworking, counters, flooring, and upholstery while ensuring proper protective coverings are installed. Generate work lists, complete paperwork such as work orders and parts requisitions, and maintain adequate tool levels and necessary state/federal licenses. Perform coach remodels and assist Production or Facilities as time permits, including potential after-hours service line coverage. Full-time role with health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three years related experience and/or training
  • significant experience working with wood and building and installing cabinets
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and other similar technical documents
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
  • working knowledge of all appropriate electrical codes and regulations
  • Pending responsibilities, may need state Commercial Driver's License
  • Department of Transportation Certification
  • in-house coach driving authorization
  • forklift driving or welding certification
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
