Job Summary
Maintain resort grounds, common areas, and vacant sites by emptying trash, trimming shrubs, raking leaves, and performing lawn care services. Troubleshoot daily maintenance issues including exterior plumbing, water leaks, sewage, and minor emergency repairs to rental units and facilities. Inspect irrigation systems regularly, treat for weeds, and ensure all resort streets and public access routes remain free of hazards. Provide daily upkeep of resort amenities and assist with site setups for guest arrivals and departures. Available for after-hours emergencies, weekends, and on-call rotations to respond to resort needs. Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' relative experience
- Proficient in use of equipment and tools
- Must be available for emergencies after hours and on weekends when needed
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment
- General knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
- General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, and grounds maintenance
- Ability to work well independently as well with others
- Availability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance
- Must have proficient verbal communication skills
