Job Summary
Execute collision repairs and paint services on RVs, including panel replacement, fabrication, and restoration of fiberglass, aluminum, steel, and composites. Remove trim, fill depressions with body filler, weld replacement parts, and sand repaired surfaces to restore frames to original specifications. Perform base coat/clear coat applications, color matching, and cosmetic fixes while tracking parts usage and maintaining work progress for supervisor inspection. Diagnose equipment and structures to determine optimal repair products and complete jobs in accordance with factory specifications.
Required Qualifications
- previous Auto, Marine and/or RV body experience
- able to make repairs to damaged body panels of RV's
- replacement of body panels
- repair of body panels
- fabrication of body panels
- painting of body panels
- occasional replacement of windows and windshields
- perform repairs on a variety of materials including fiberglass, aluminum, steel and composites
- proficient at spraying both single stage and base/clear paint systems
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in custom vehicle painting / automotive painting / RV painting or Metal/Body Work
- Ability to prep, refinish, and color match
- Must have experience in base coat clear coat applications
- Must have experience with fades, pearls, and stripes
- Finish major painting repairs
- Complete work in high quality manner
- Fiberglass Repair and Finishing
- Metal Replacement
- RV Collision repair
- Some positions may require applicants to possess a valid driver's license
- have a good driving record
