Job Summary
Prepare food by following recipes accurately for cooking, seasoning, grilling, and dicing ingredients while maintaining portion control and sanitation standards. Provide customer service by greeting guests, articulating the menu, operating the POS system, and handling orders. Work across all stations including prep, line, cashier, and catering, adapting to changing customer volumes and taking on additional tasks as needed. Maintain a clean work area by washing cookware, cleaning equipment, and adhering to station checklists. Stand for extended periods, move freely around the location, and lift up to 25 lbs. Hold Food Handlers and Responsible Alcohol Service certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Have the ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers and other team members.
- Have the ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times and display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assigned work duties.
- Be able to exhibit a cheerful and helpful attitude and provide exceptional customer service.
- Be able to adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency.
- Have the ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu.
- Be able to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines.
- Have the ability to be cross-trained in all areas in the front and back of house.
- Have the ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location.
- Food Handlers/Food Safety Certification.
- Responsible Alcohol Service Certification, where applicable.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to move freely around work location (internal and external).
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
- Able to push or pull equipment and items.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Able to move about office/restaurant setting to complete responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail or restaurant experience.
- Proven customer service track record.
