Job Summary
Lead the Rust project by creating new features and improving the robustness, performance, and resilience of the existing codebase. Solve complex business problems through designing and implementing robust code and cutting-edge optimization algorithms for high-performance distributed data processing. Collaborate with internal project owners and customers to develop services, while building and managing scalable cloud software solutions with full IaC in a GCP container environment. Work with cutting-edge technologies in machine learning, optimization, and AI spaces to ship working Rust software regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced Software Developer
- Proven commercial experience developing with Rust
- Strong proficiency in low latency data handling and data transformation
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, scaling and resilience
- Experience building and managing containerised solutions on one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- A self-starter mentality with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with technologies such as TDD, BDD, Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event driven systems, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
