Job Summary
Senior Rust Developer to mentor and grow engineers, lead design of components and their interactions, and work across multiple codebases and languages. Role emphasizes quality, proactive debugging, observability, cross-team collaboration, independent task delivery, reviewing architect specifications, emergency fixes, component integration, deployment, and writing code documentation and technical manuals.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience in Haskell, Javascript, Scala, or Rust
- Strong experience with Rust in production environments
- Expert-level understanding of Rust ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and concurrency
- Experience developing web services and RESTful APIs
- Understanding of HTTP, accessibility, and security compliance
- Knowledge of distributed systems and network development
- Experience with concurrent programming and multithreading
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with test-driven development
- Experience with Git and modern Git workflows
- Experience with Agile software development methods
- Knowledge of cryptography protocols (a plus)
- Experience with Web3 technologies (an added advantage)
- Degree in Computer Science desirable but not essential
- Pragmatically adhere to software engineering principles
- Ability to lead design of components and mentor engineers
