Job Summary
Report to the Front Desk upon arrival, maintain established classroom routines, and implement lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher. Monitor student behavior during transitions and school activities, take daily attendance, and maintain necessary records. Communicate with the regular classroom teacher or administration regarding student progress, ensure the classroom is clean and organized at day's end, and follow all school policies. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. This is an on-call, as-needed position with no guaranteed hours. Compensation varies by licensure status, ranging from $155 to $200 daily.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university
- A valid Colorado Department of Education Substitute Authorization or Teacher License
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans effectively
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and student needs
- Professionalism
