Job Summary
Uwill Counselor role offering teletherapy to college students via video, phone, or chat. Part-time 1099 independent contractor with flexible scheduling. Must be a licensed Russian-speaking mental health professional in California (LPCC/LCSW/LMFT/PsyD) with a Master’s degree and at least 2 years of telehealth experience, able to provide care across diverse student populations, conduct risk assessments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant, secure sessions. Responsibilities include managing an ongoing client caseload from initial session to graduation, documenting notes, and responding to student messages; facilities include Zoom-based sessions and a focus on culturally competent care for a diverse student body.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual and able to provide sessions in Russian
- An independent license to practice mental health therapy in California (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT or PsyD)
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- 2 years of experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting
- Professional liability insurance
- HIPAA compliant professional and secure location to perform sessions
- Ability to provide sessions via Zoom with camera and microphone
