Job Summary
Russian Interpreter needed for 100% remote roles focused on medical interpretation (OPI with potential progression to VRI). Provide accurate consecutive interpretation in medical, social services, and financial contexts. Requires 6 months–1 year of remote medical interpretation experience, C1 English proficiency, and interpretation certifications (EF SET, TOEFL, CAE). Must pass terminology/interpretation skills evaluation, hold or obtain HIPAA and FWA certifications, and complete a background check. Must have a hardwired Ethernet connection, a noise-canceling USB headset, Windows 10, 4GB RAM, and a HIPAA-compliant dedicated workspace. Offer includes competitive pay per interpreted minute, flexible hours, and remote work from anywhere with potential to advance to core staff.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation
- Minimum C1 English proficiency
- Certification from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE
- Ability to pass a terminology and interpreter skills evaluation
- Core skills in medical and customer service terminology
- Willingness to obtain HIPAA and FWA certifications
- Willingness to complete standard background check
- Hardware requirements: Ethernet connection, noise-canceling USB headset, Windows 10, 4GB RAM
- HIPAA-compliant dedicated workspace
