Job Summary
Russian Interpreter for 100% remote, primarily medical OPI with potential progression to VRI. Requires 6 months to 1 year of remote medical interpretation experience, C1-level English (certifications accepted: EF SET, TOEFL, CAE), and successful completion of a terminology/interpreter skills evaluation. Must hold or be willing to obtain HIPAA and FWA certifications, and pass a standard background check. Workspace must be fully HIPAA-compliant with a wired internet connection, a high-quality noise-canceling USB headset, Windows 10, 4GB RAM minimum, and up-to-date browser (Chrome/Safari/Edge). Role offers flexible scheduling (minimum weekly hours) and the possibility to advance from OPI to VRI with a higher per-minute rate, working from home within a 100% remote setup.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation
- Minimum C1 English proficiency
- Valid certifications accepted: EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE
- Pass terminology and interpreter skills evaluation during hiring
- Mastery of medical and customer service terminology
- Willingness to obtain HIPAA and FWA certifications
- Willingness to complete standard background check
- Hardwired Ethernet connection mandatory
