Job Summary
In-home Home Health Aide role providing compassionate, individualized care to clients in Shamokin and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include personal care, incontinence support, mobility assistance, companionship, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, errands/transportation, medication reminders, and care documentation. Requires CNA license or completion of state competency test, TB testing (or equivalent), valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle, and willingness to accept client assignments from the waitlist to qualify for the special rate. Job types include full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling; urgent hiring for immediate openings. Locations vary by client needs; care is provided in clients’ homes.
Required Qualifications
- Two-step TB test, TSPOT, or chest X-ray (must be completed within one week of hire)
- Completion of state competency test provided by the agency, or a valid CNA license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required)
