Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities; assess mental status and diagnose DSM-5 disorders; develop treatment plans and apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; licensed in Kansas by the Kansas Board of Nursing in good standing with psychiatry focus and DEA eligibility; 1 year of geriatric psychiatry and SNF/acute rehab treatment experience; Spanish language skills a plus; comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Kansas by the Kansas Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Kansas Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
