Job Summary
Medical Director provides clinical oversight for all primary care and behavioral health services at Inclusion Care in Winchester, KY, establishing medical protocols, leading quality improvement initiatives, and serving as the chief liaison with the local medical community. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff (APRNs and PAs per Kentucky law CAPA-NS/CAPA-CS), integrating BHSO services within the Rural Health Clinic framework, developing standing orders and medical policies aligned with RHC regulations (907 KAR 1:082) and BHSO regulations (902 KAR 20:430), leading the clinic’s Quality Improvement program, and ensuring regulatory compliance and accreditation while acting as the face of Inclusion Care within the Winchester and Clark County medical communities.
Required Qualifications
- licensure as medical physician
- clinical oversight experience in primary care and behavioral health
- leadership of quality improvement initiatives
- experience supervising APRNs and PAs as required by Kentucky law (CAPA-NS/CAPA-CS)
- familiarity with RHC and BHSO regulations and accreditation processes
- ability to engage with local medical community and hospitals
