Job Summary
Automotive Runner/Driver to transport vehicles and parts for a dealership, performing vehicle transfers, pickups, and inter-company deliveries while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include picking up and delivering customer vehicles, transporting customers, delivering parts from vendors, maintaining delivery records, inspecting vehicles, keeping vehicles and work areas organized, supporting service, parts, and sales with errands, and adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to drive various vehicle types, strong communication skills, independence, reliability, and the use of smartphones/navigation tools.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicle types (cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, light commercial vehicles)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
- Ability to use smartphones, navigation apps, and basic electronic communication tools
- Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review
- Previous automotive, delivery, transportation, or dealership experience is preferred but not required
