Job Summary
Ensures prompt and polite service to members and guests; serves as the liaison between the kitchen and servers; carries food trays to appropriate tables and serves food to guests; prepares service stations, clears and resets tables, removes trays from dining/banquet rooms, and cleans and closes service stations. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include stocking and readiness of kitchen service stations, ensuring plates are correct, expediting, maintaining cleanliness of service stations, ensuring availability of bread, soup and to-go items, assisting servers and bussers, and breaking down service stations at end of shift. Requires six months related experience or training, California Food Handler Card within 30 days, and Responsible Beverage Service certification within 60 days; physical ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds; English literacy.
