Job Summary
Serve food orders accurately and timely while checking for proper garnishments and addressing guest inquiries regarding allergies or condiments. Present yourself professionally, clear station debris, and maintain knowledge of table numbers and restaurant layout to ensure prompt service. Lift items up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive motions, and work under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting. Minimum age is 17; high school diploma or related experience preferred. This role supports the front-of-house team at Legal Sea Foods in a setting requiring excellent interpersonal skills and adherence to company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement is 17 years of age
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
- Must have a good sense of balance
- Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, push and pull
- Must be able to frequently lift food, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to guests, co-workers, and supervisors
- Must be pleasant, cooperative and take direction well
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must exhibit and use good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness
- Must demonstrate good judgment
- Must be able to bring guests' inquiries regarding food allergies to the Manager's attention immediately
- Must be able to ensure station is suitable for serving and meets company standards
- Must be able to present self in courteous and professional manner to guests at all times
- Must be able to check orders for accuracy prior to serving
- Must be able to deliver food orders with appropriate garnishments
- Must be able to deliver food orders timely
- Must be able to communicate important information to guests and servers
- Must be able to respond to guests' requests for condiments or other items
- Must be able to continually clear away dishes and debris from stations
- Must have knowledge of table numbers and the physical layout of the restaurant
- Must be able to confirm employment eligibility through E-Verify and complete Form I-9
