Job Summary
Deliver produce to local customers in the Kansas City area using a 26ft box truck, checking orders for accuracy and inspecting product for damage. Operate a pallet truck to unload products using a ramp and hand dolly, while addressing customer questions and concerns professionally. Maintain accurate delivery records and follow all safety guidelines when driving in varying weather conditions. Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally. Work a flexible schedule from 7 AM until completion with Sundays and Thursdays off.
Required Qualifications
- Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
- Must be able to read and write English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving a 26ft box truck
- Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
