Job Summary
Develop and deploy features across the tech stack, writing maintainable code while iterating and shipping rapidly. Ensure appropriate automated test coverage for optimal product reliability and release velocity, and refactor existing Ruby or JavaScript code to improve maintainability and efficiency. Develop and document REST APIs, contributing to improving development, Agile, and CI delivery best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders across Design, Product Management, and Engineering to present new ideas and debate concepts respectfully. This Direct Hire opportunity in Columbus, OH, requires 2-4+ years of experience building web and SaaS applications with Ruby on Rails expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience building web and SaaS based applications
- 1-2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR)
- A keen eye for good RESTful API design and/or microservice architecture
- Experience with Git source control
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of professional experience
Desired Qualifications
- excitement about dabbling in other frameworks and technologies
- AWS experience
- A Computer Science Degree
