Job Summary
Operate hydraulic press equipment on the night shift; set up, run, and monitor presses to meet quality specifications. Read production orders, blueprints, and measurement tools; maintain accurate production and quality records; perform routine maintenance and PPE compliance; identify malfunctions and communicate with supervisors. Requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment with potential heat/noise. Night shift transitions from 1st shift (5:00 am–3:00 pm) to 2nd shift (2:45 pm–12:45 am) after ~3 months, and may include operating in a fast-paced production setting with safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
