Job Summary
The RTW Career Exploration Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging programming that supports middle school members in exploring career pathways and building workforce skills. Key responsibilities include facilitating weekly RTW Academy programming, coordinating career awareness experiences, providing individualized member support, maintaining accurate member records, and partnering with leadership for program implementation. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 2 years in youth development or program coordination, strong facilitation and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in youth development, workforce readiness, or program coordination.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to engage middle school-aged youth in career-focused programming.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with database and data tracking systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, particularly for Saturday Academy and special events.
- Valid driver’s license required; ability to commute throughout Metro-Boston as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Boston neighborhoods, schools, and community-based organizations preferred.
