Job Summary
Process and sort damaged, defective, or returned merchandise by following salvage, donation, and vendor return procedures. Obtain return authorizations from vendors, process chargebacks, and ship merchandise based on vendor policies while maintaining accurate inventory status. Re-wrap sellable items using proper packaging guidelines and conduct daily safety walks to escalate findings. Support inventory control counts, review return reports, and process specific merchandise recalls and tire/battery returns. Ensure the department remains organized, clean, and compliant with all club policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Must be able to lift objects up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to lift and move heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to crawl
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to climb ladders/step stools
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers
- Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Must be able to handle occasional exposure to hazardous material
