Job Summary
RTTC Teacher for IDEA Rio Grande City College Prep: Implement state standards and IDEA curricula, deliver grade-appropriate content, and utilize data to plan and adjust instruction. Responsibilities include submitting weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance, administering formal and informal assessments, communicating student progress weekly with families, maintaining a consistent behavior-management system, and supporting a productive school culture. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, K-12 teaching experience (preferred), and willingness to work 40+ hours per week in a campus setting. Includes benefits, tuition reimbursement opportunities, and potential relocation assistance depending on campus needs. Active engagement in tutoring and after-school duties may be required; annual starting salary is $57,500 with eligibility for stipends and performance-based compensation. Location: Rio Grande City, Texas (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Experience in a K-12 classroom setting (strongly preferred)
- Licenses or Certifications: State certification preferred but not required
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior
- Knowledge of core academic subject and curriculum alignment
