RTIO Supervisor Performance Specialist - RIO Sites

Job Summary

Develop and deliver a comprehensive training framework for Supervisors and Leading Hands, including curriculum, resources, assessments, and onboarding programs. Build technical, operational, leadership, and compliance capability aligned with Otraco, client, and statutory requirements. Standardise supervisory practices and training outcomes across all Otraco sites while maintaining current training materials, competency records, and development pathways through ongoing review and stakeholder collaboration. Provide coaching, mentoring, and field-based support to reinforce procedural compliance and leadership effectiveness. Collaborate with operational and client stakeholders, communicate updates effectively, and provide feedback on workforce capability and development needs. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites, a Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy, and a valid Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites
  • Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21920 or equivalent
  • A valid and current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (minimum of an HR licence)
  • A current WorkSafe forklift (LF) licence
  • Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work to meet targets
  • An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in training development, delivery and assessment within mining, automotive, mechanical or heavy industry environments
  • Strong knowledge of earthmover tyre operations, maintenance processes and Otraco/RTIO systems
  • Ability to design clear, effective training materials including learning pathways, QRGs, SPLs and standard procedures
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements relating to mining operations, safety, and training compliance
  • High‐level communication skills with the ability to train diverse workforce groups across multiple sites

Desired Qualifications

  • Studying towards a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace training or Frontline management
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Prior Supervisory or Leading Hand experience in a mining, tyre management or maintenance environment
  • Experience using Otracom, RTIO MEM systems or equivalent operating systems
  • Qualification in leadership, WHS or operational management
  • Experience in developing capability frameworks or structured learning programs
