RTI READING TEACHER GRADES 6-8

RTI Reading Teacher for grades 6-8 provides direct academic support to identified students, collaborates with instructional staff, and delivers targeted interventions to bring students up to grade-level reading and/or math standards. Responsibilities include assessing at-risk students, delivering small-group or individual instruction, co-planning/co-teaching with grade-level teachers, differentiating instruction, planning and implementing intervention strategies, evaluating the effectiveness of RtI approaches, communicating student progress to staff and parents, and providing professional development to teachers working with at-risk students. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, data analysis abilities, classroom management, and adherence to district safety policies, with 3 years of teaching experience and a valid Texas teaching certificate.
