Job Summary
RTE Utility in a cold, production-focused environment supporting packaging and cutting teams. Responsibilities include transporting rework, staging trucks and lugs, preparing equipment, pulling carts, sorting good vs. defective packages, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the production cycle. Requires accurate documentation of weights, adherence to SOPs and safety protocols, ability to stand for long shifts, and capability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role supports production continuity with team coverage, follows GMP/OSHA/FDA guidelines, and offers health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a food processing or packaging environment is a plus
- Ability to follow directions, SOPs, and safety protocols precisely
- Basic math and documentation skills for recording weights and counts
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. required
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
- Work is performed in a cold, refrigerated environment
- PPE must be worn at all times in production areas
- Noise levels may vary due to equipment and production activity
