Job Summary
Oversee daily Ready-to-Eat (RTE) production operations and supervise RTE Line Leads and Packaging Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant processing and packaging. Enforce GMPs, sanitation, and zone separation; verify codes, lot tracking, and documentation; coordinate with QA and Sanitation to address safety and quality concerns; conduct shift meetings, train staff on RTE protocols, and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Maintain compliance with USDA standards and company policies, while ensuring a clean, organized work environment and timely reporting of issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Strong knowledge of RTE operations, USDA regulations, and GMP compliance
- Ability to lead and motivate a team with strong cross-department communication
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and production documentation systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended shifts as needed
- Eligibility to work in the United States
