Job Summary
Perform respiratory therapy procedures under supervision, including blood gas analysis and patient/family education. Document and charge for care while adhering to infection control and equipment disinfection protocols. Communicate with supervisors and therapists to provide accurate reports. Complete duties based on clinical progression and competency validation. Work variable shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an approved school for respiratory care
- new/recent graduates of a school of respiratory care who are awaiting credentialing
- BLS
