Job Summary

RT Vent Field Clinician provides respiratory patient care to Vent patients in various settings, including discharge planning and education for patients and caregivers. Responsibilities include reviewing plans of care, documenting procedures and assessments, processing ventilator referrals, maintaining ventilation-related equipment, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines, performing clinical assessments, coordinating with physicians and referral sources, and supporting on-call coverage. Must demonstrate clinical knowledge in ventilator management, airway clearance, oxygen therapy, and documentation, while communicating effectively with the care team and adapting to changing environments. Travel throughout the service area and collaboration with patients, families, and referral sources are expected.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree from an AMA approved respiratory program
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch
  • CPR certification
  • One (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT or clinical nursing with Vent experience
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
