RT Vent - Field

Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support in the field delivering specialized respiratory care to ventilator dependent patients in home and alternate care settings. Responsibilities include clinical assessments and care plan reviews, instructing patients and caregivers on ventilator units and equipment, discharge planning, documentation for quality tracking and regulatory compliance, and collaboration with physicians and care teams. Requires maintaining knowledge of respiratory equipment and regulatory guidelines, on-call rotation, and ongoing professional development; requires an Associate’s degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program, one year of ventilator-exposure experience, and a valid Respiratory Therapist license. Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and technical aptitude with clinical systems are essential.
