Job Summary
Join Ochsner Health as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab, where you'll operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment, monitor patient vitals, and assist physicians during procedures. This role requires a commitment to patient safety, compliance with federal and state regulations, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. An Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences and certifications in BLS and ACLS are required, along with proficiency in computer skills and strong communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months of hire
- Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice
- Registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences
- 2 years of experience as an allied health professional
