Job Summary
Provide respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic care to patients in critical, general, and emergency care areas. Perform electrocardiogram and other related examinations as directed. Maintain current licensure with the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy and National Board of Respiratory Care, along with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Requires one to two years of clinical experience and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. This 20-hour, 3rd shift position supports our mission of excellence and values safety, compassion, innovation, and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduated from a CoArc accredited program
- Current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy
- Current licensure thru the National Board of Respiratory Care
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- One to two years' clinical experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to change tasks frequently and quickly
