Job Summary
NDT Technician (RT Level II) conducts non-destructive testing on aerospace products using UT, ET, and RT methods in a Boeing Defense, Space & Security environment. Role involves setup of specialized NDT equipment, documentation of procedures and results, analysis of data, and assisting with corrective actions. Requires standing for long periods, physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs, ability to work in a radiation environment, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Must obtain Boeing NDT certification and pass a vision exam; candidate must have documented NDT education and/or OJT hours available for Level 3 review. 3rd shift with possible travel up to 5%; relocation offered based on eligibility; U.S. citizenship to meet security clearance requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is preferred. Responsibilities expand from entry-level training to include development of procedures, data analysis, and verification of conformity for aerospace products; strong communication skills and ability to work with a quality team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current NDT Level II certification in Radiography (RT)
