Job Summary
Assistant Radiographer/Radiographer Trainee duties include assisting with setting up and tearing down radiographic equipment, routine and preventive maintenance, documentation of services, and operating under direct supervision of a radiographer while ensuring safety boundaries and NRC criteria requirements. Training toward NRC-compliant radiography, travel as needed, and readiness to perform tasks with attention to safety, quality, and environmental protection. Emphasis on communication with clients and team, adherence to company policies, and ability to read technical documents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a 40 hour Radiation Safety Course certificate of completion
- State Industrial Radiographer’s Card or IRRSP Card preferred (where applicable)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
- Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred
- Proven ability to follow precise directions and procedures
- Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule
