Job Summary
RSS Team Manager leads and mentors a national Rehabilitation Service Specialist team to deliver contracted program services, managing performance, caseloads, and recruitment to ensure high-quality, participant-centered outcomes. The role partners with funders, service providers, and community agencies while guiding RSSs to achieve performance and outcome goals, maintain standardized service quality across Canada, and ensure rehabilitation plans are progressed and reassessed monthly. Requires current CVRP or CVRP–Fellow designation, five years in rehabilitation services, two years of supervisory experience, bilingual English/French, and eligibility for Reliability Status security clearance. The role is remote in Canada with travel as needed and an 18-month contract period.
Required Qualifications
- Current health professional designation (CVRP or CVRP – Fellow)
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the direct provision of medical, psycho-social or vocational rehabilitation services
- Minimum two (2) years’ supervisory experience in disability management and/or case management of rehabilitation services
- Experience conducting medical, psycho-social or vocational rehabilitation assessments
- Experience working with persons living with mental or physical health problems
- Experience working with a variety of health disciplines in an inter-disciplinary team environment
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Employment conditional on obtaining federal Reliability Status security clearance
