Job Summary
Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair on machinery, building systems, and equipment to ensure smooth operations and prevent deterioration. Inspect, operate, and test systems to diagnose mechanical problems, checking blueprints and repair manuals as necessary. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and machinery, including inspecting drives, motors, and belts while replacing filters. Record the type and cost of all maintenance or repair work using PM Software. Maintain a safe, injury-free environment by properly using PPE and safe lifting techniques. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 9am to 5:30pm. High school diploma or GED preferred; must be at least 18 years old. Experience with general maintenance, electrical duties, and conveyor systems is preferred. CMMS proficiency and strong computer skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours
- Must be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role
- Be an active participant in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience with general maintenance/ electrical duties preferred
- Have general knowledge of conveyors systems, and ability to trouble shoot
- Ability to CMMS and good computer skills for utilizing PM Software system
- Maintenance experience within a manufacturing/ distribution environment
