Job Summary
Plan and coordinate maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Lead technicians performing aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting, provide work directions, and ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection/documentation requirements. Oversee proper completion of work orders and sign-offs, ensure quality standards, tag customer property, and maintain organized work areas. Manage operating procedures and lean initiatives (6S/Lean) to keep shops and hangars clean. Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations,repair manuals, IPCs and related documents, and ensure clear English communication. Travel up to 25% as required during maintenance operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 8 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical)
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
- Valid Driver’s License
