RRTS Caseworker -Cedar Rapids

Conduct pre-screening activities for potential foster families and write complete, thorough home study assessments for prospective and current foster and adoptive families. Meet contract requirements for supportive contacts with Resource Families, assessing strengths and limitations of placement options while troubleshooting potential match delays. Provide pre-service and in-service training as requested, document all contacts using CareMatch procedures, and assist with match referrals based on specific criteria. Perform initial, renewal, and relative home studies as assigned, maintaining awareness of Iowa Administrative Code standards to ensure family compliance. Support pre-adoptive families through to adoption to assure stability, traveling as necessary to stakeholder meetings and Resource Family homes, often during evenings and weekends.
