RRT - Respiratory Therapy - Full Time - Nights

Job Summary
Provide respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to neonatal through geriatric patients. Monitor and wean oxygen therapy, draw and analyze arterial blood gases and EKGs, deliver intermittent therapy, and assist with changing artificial airways per physician orders. Review and document clinical information for each patient encounter while educating patients and the healthcare team on procedures and treatment plans. Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards to ensure compliance. Requires an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy, two years of experience, current state license, NRP certification, and proficiency with computer software. Full-time night shift with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy
- 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Current license as a respiratory therapist in state of practice
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a certified or registered respiratory therapist
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) or American Heart Association (AHA)
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
