Job Summary

Respiratory Care Practitioner II administers prescribed respiratory therapies, records treatment data, manages life-support equipment, and serves as a resource for staff. Responsibilities include performing invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring, providing age-appropriate care, maintaining respiratory equipment and records, and participating in rapid response for cardiac/respiratory events. The role emphasizes applying cardiopulmonary physiology knowledge, developing care plans and clinical pathways, and mentoring peers. The position supports family-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, data collection/auditing, and education of new staff and students. Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program accredited by the Committee on Respiratory Care (CoARC)
  • 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • RCP license issued by the Oklahoma State Medical Board
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • BLS
  • ALS within 3 months of hire
  • PALS within 90 days
