Job Summary
Provide quality respiratory care to patients, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment. Maintain all skills and knowledge necessary to deliver safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate respiratory care to neonates through adolescents. Ensure patient care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department, and regulatory agencies. Requires current Florida Respiratory Therapist licensure, RRT credential, and NRP certification for NICU work. Sign on bonus of $10,000.00.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapist
- Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC)
- Must be a graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program approved by the Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
- Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
