Job Summary
Provide evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies; assess type/frequency of treatments and develop care plans; implement/monitor patient care plans and equipment; monitor and communicate patient condition; perform advanced respiratory care modalities; evaluate respiratory practice, medications, and treatment outcomes; educate patient and family about health conditions and community resources; respond to emergency resuscitation team codes.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date
- NBRC Registered credentialed respiratory therapist
- Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy credential
- Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/ARC)
- Neonatal Resuscitation credential preferred (AAP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/ARC)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
