Job Summary
Perform patient assessments and testing, provide patient education, and monitor compliance with prescribed therapies related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Complete department-specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level. Maintain RRT certification registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and hold a Georgia state license upon hire. Secure Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
