Job Summary
Perform patient assessments and testing, provide patient education, and monitor compliance with prescribed therapies for pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. This role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, RRT certification licensed by the State of Georgia, and BCLS. Candidates must have previous respiratory care experience or successful completion of department-specific orientation with skills validation. Employment is with Piedmont Medical Care Corporation in the Buckhead area.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
