Job Summary
Perform patient assessments and testing, provide patient education, and monitor compliance with prescribed therapies related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Maintain RRT certification registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and hold Georgia state licensure. Complete department-specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for duties and responsibilities. Obtain Basic Life Support certification upon hire. This role supports the respiratory care team at Piedmont Medical Care Corporation in the Buckhead location.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
