Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, testing, and education for pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders while monitoring therapy compliance. Manage critical care procedures in adult ICU, medical/surgical, progressive care, and acute floors, including women's center deliveries and NICU care. Conduct blood gas analysis, perform inpatient EKGs, and assist with bronchoscopy. Maintain and manage GE Carescape, Servo I, Drager, Phillips, and REMstar ventilation equipment. Execute outpatient and inpatient pulmonary function tests. Requires RRT licensure, BCLS/ACLS, and one year of experience preferred. Part-time night shifts at Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS
- Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
