Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, testing, and education while monitoring compliance with pulmonary disease and sleep disorder therapies. Execute critical care procedures in adult ICU, medical/surgical, progressive care, and acute floors, including intubation and A-line insertion after competency. Manage GE Carescape, Servo, Drager, and HFOV equipment; perform bronchoscopy assistance, blood gas analysis, and inpatient EKGs. Provide care for NICU patients during deliveries and attend pulmonary function lab testing. Shadow the department and facility to familiarize with operations.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies

- One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties
